My wife was having an engaging conversation with a delightful teenage gal who is involved with her High School Drama Club. This girl had recently participated in a production of The Little Mermaid, and my wife said, “I bet you would make a perfect Ariel!”

“Actually, I was Jellyfish #2,” the girl said sheepishly. “But I WAS a pretty good jellyfish!”

And honestly, most of us aren’t superstars who get the “leading role” in our careers or various life endeavors. When it comes to the corporate hierarchy, most of us are just marine invertebrates with numerical labels. But whether you’re Ariel or Jellyfish #2, fulfill your role with enthusiasm and excellence.

Don’t take yourself too seriously, but if you simply do your best, you’ll have some serious fun…and the overall production will be fantastic🙂
