Many people are aware that I write at a fairly prolific rate. But not as many people know about Lifelovelipids.com. The diverse content includes medical article analyses, devotional thoughts, nostalgic musings, and everything in between; God has blessed me immensely, and it’s my attempt to “pay it forward.”
And one of the 12 people worldwide who regularly visits this Website is my 9 year-old daughter. Weirdly, she currently skips the “Lipid Nerd Alert” articles, but she often winds down at night by reading my other blogs.
And last night, after mulling things over, she informed me that she is NOT YET READY to have her own website. I wasn’t aware that this was an option, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised…I mean, pretty much everyone is an influencer or Podcast host these days. Below is the list of her reasons for “just reading Dad’s stuff for now:”
1. Her current typing speed is 3 words per minute.
2. She would probably forget to finish most of the posts she starts.
3. Most importantly, she doesn’t want to run the risk of becoming “Internet Famous” so that creeps come find her and kidnap her (depicted in the picture here). She really likes her room and her loft bed.
So for now, she is content to get cozy in her pajamas and enjoy her Dad’s blogs. It’s safer that way. And I think deep down, she knows she’s the one fan who inspires him to keep writing😊
