Apparently November is National Triglyceride Month, so the publication of our Case Report featuring a patient with Multifactorial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (MCS) is quite timely!

I’ll flesh out the details later, but we were able to help this patient, who had a history of severe hypertriglyceridemia and multiple episodes of pancreatitis, finally find a sustainable dietary pattern that has both ameliorated her metabolic health and has greatly reduced her risk of future pancreatitis bouts.

Although the article is pretty interesting, the most awesome part of the entire thing is when the patient herself gave this testimonial:

“For the first time since I was diagnosed with diabetes DM and high triglycerides, I feel that I have control over my health.”

Oftentimes, the best prescription we can give is that of hope. What a blessing!
