Since Captain Planet is unlikely to be the hero we need for saving the world from Heart Disease (as we learned from last week’s post), perhaps we ought to turn our attention to another early 1990s classic cartoon character…Darkwing Duck!

You already know from the Theme Song that “when there’s trouble you can call DW.” But I’ve heard that as Darkwing has entered midlife, his iconic catchphrase “Let’s Get Dangerous!” has shifted to a message of prevention. American Heart Association, take note!
