It seems like every other day I get asked about certain medications that haven’t even been approved by the FDA, yet people are somehow obtaining. And it made me think of a common pastime of Millennials around the turn of the century…FILE SHARING! None of us had any money, but we all had a computer, blank CDs, and Limewire! (Or Kazaa or Bearshare…or maybe all three).
So we would rush home and get a batch of mp3s downloading. Then, we would go to soccer practice, shower, do our homework, and by the time we finished dinner, the files were finally available for creating ABSOLUTE FIRE mixtapes. Those were the days!
Unless, of course, that mp3 of Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down was riddled with so many viruses that your computer also went down…and then you had to explain to your parents why their PC had a permanent Blue Screen of Death. Many first jobs were spent paying off disasters that could have been prevented by a trip to Hastings.
Anyway, you can probably deduce what I tell people when they ask about some black market injectable or mystery peptide purchased from Panama. It may seem enticing, but you very well could get Limewired😊
