In the scorching summer heat, corporate employees grow sweaty, weary, and disgruntled.  The grass starts to seem greener at other companies, and Medical Affairs morphs into Musical Chairs.  And as you’ve probably observed in the news headlines, it becomes a time of transition for the NBA (National BioTech Association).

Quite frequently, the workday will start with a gut-wrenching email announcement that a superstar colleague has “traded teams.”

“LeBronica has left the company to pursue an external opportunity.”

And there had been signs of tension between LeBronica and the progressively disconnected Coaching Staff.  All was well after the initial successful Drug Launch and the landmark Cardiovascular Outcome Championship, but over time, it seemed that LeBronica’s talents were not being utilized and appreciated.  Sure, she was getting older. Yeah, she could be awfully dramatic about her Company iPhone preferences and she sometimes whined about Expense Reports. And there was that one weird episode of what seemed like nepotism. But she was still a true scientific expert, a valuable teammate, and when she was out in the field, she remained jaw-droppingly effective.

However, her new team is super excited, and she instantly makes them a real contender!  I can’t remember if it’s Philly or Lilly or LeBronson and Bronson or some other team, but it should be fun to watch!

Gear up!  The season starts after onboarding!
